The Single Mom KC (TSMKC) leveraged Mother’s Day to educate the community about single moms and to request donations. Through the spring, TSMKC continued to build on its most recent fundraiser, Fall into Fashion, with the theme Unlocking a Million Dreams.
Two email campaigns were developed — one to partners, past donors, and prospects requesting one-time or recurring gifts; one to moms providing assets to run individual Facebook fundraisers to reach more donors. A banner was added to the TSMKC website home page, directing online visitors to a unique landing page.
The campaign highlighted quotes from single moms and offered ideas for caring for single moms and their children around Mother’s Day.
