She’d been operating her life coaching business for several years, but after clarifying her target audience, Bethany Anderson needed to simplify her website to communicate her focus on young adults.

I worked with Bethany to reorganize her content, clarify messaging, and define color and typography based upon her existing logo. We also moved away from a free Squarespace template to a customized WordPress website.

The website needed to drive young adults — or parents of young adults — to contact Bethany to get started with coaching. Thus, simple, clear call-to-action buttons were used to guide visitors around the site and encourage them to contact Bethany. A secondary header bar was added to keep Bethany’s contact information present and accessible on all pages. To make reaching out easy, functionality was added to all “Text Bethany” links to prompt a pre-populated text message on a user’s device.
